Religious Education Assistant

September 2007-June 2008

Candidates must be caring, reflective, and motivated individuals who are genuinely interested in working with UU children, youth, and families. Excellent listening skills, strong UU spiritual center, flexibility and sense of humor a plus.

Responsibilities:

The assistant provides overall support to the Religious Education Director and the Children¹s RE Program nursery through 8th grade- in helping to maintain programmatic organization needs. Tasks include maintaining records, teacher and volunteer recruitment, shopping for supplies and working with children and families on Sunday mornings. The 10 hours include Sunday mornings (8 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and at least one part time day during the week and a monthly evening CRE meeting.
