About The Event
Now in its ninth season, this community-building storytelling event has brought joy to our congregation. Hosted by Richard Waring and Ian Garvie, our own churchgoers tell true tales in 5 minutes or less, without props or scripts, to our empathetic audience. Contact Richard at richardwaringpoet@gmail.com to sign up to tell a story or just show up on Friday, March 20, at 7:30 pm in the Parish Hall to hear live tales from our own voices!
Intended to present our shared humanity in all its agonies and ecstasies, this annual event brings our community together in a unique way through the magic of storytelling. Like moths gathering around a back porch light, we congregate to listen and learn from our true tales.
We hope to see you there!
