First Church Auction: Party with a Porpoise!

A $60 ticket buys you hors d’oeuvres at the cocktail reception, 2 drink tickets, a Caribbean-themed buffet dinner, musical entertainment, dancing, and—most important—the excitement of the Live Auction.

The Silent Auction opened officially this past Saturday and will continue until Sunday, May 7 at 8:00 p.m. Just go to biddingforgood.com/uubelmont to register and start bidding.  You’ll find more than 200 items, including vacation homes, brand-new tech devices and computer help, home-baked treats, original works of art, one-of-a-kind experiences, restaurant gift certificates, elaborate dinners and brunches, gardening services, cultural events, handmade accessories, and much more.  Items are still being added, so keep checking!  These items are available for online bidding only, so you must register with your credit card information on the site.   During the Silent Auction, be sure to visit the Bidding for Good website often to see how your donations are doing and whether your own bids are still winning. (You can sign up for automatic email notifications.)

 

The Raffle will consist of two grand prizes:

• A $250 gift certificate for the Celebrity Series (good for any show!) along with a $100 gift certificate toward dinner at The Westland.
• A tour of the Belmont Farmers’ Market (for 4) together with a surprise gift basket and a $150 gift certificate, which is good for any of the vendors.

Raffle tickets are available at biddingforgood.com/uubelmont (Just click on “order tickets”) as well as during the evening of the Live Auction: $5 for one; $20 for 5; and $35 for 10—what a bargain! You can also buy them at Coffee Hour.   This is a great way to support the auction fundraising effort and participate in the excitement if you can’t be there the night of. The drawing will be on May 6. You need not be present to win the Raffle.
