About The Event
At our next meeting, John Howe and Cathe Carpenter will look at the extraordinary life and ministerial career of Rev. Dr. Victor Carpenter (1929-2018). A prominent and outspoken leader in our denomination, Victor served as FCB's senior minister (1994-2002) and minister emeritus thereafter. His courageous work in South Africa and a series of prominent urban congregations earned him numerous awards, including, in 2011, the UUA's Award for Distinguished Service to the Cause of Unitarian Universalism. This meeting is open to everyone. Please contact Lillian Anderson landerson@uubelmont.org for the Zoom link. We hope you will join us.
Join us on the first Thursday of every month at 7:30 pm for ongoing discussions about First Church history with Historian John Howe. For more information, contact Lillian Anderson at landerson@uubelmont.org.
