The Groove and the Bottom: Circle Singing Workshop 2
Experienced singers are invited to explore how to use rhythm to enhance their circle ideas on March 9 from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm through circle singing— a wonderful, collaborative, improvised music experience that allows people of all levels to explore their vocal expression. Registration required.

About The Event
The amazing singer and vocal improviser Joey Blake will be hosting two workshops on March 8 and 9 here, at the First Church in Belmont! Circle singing is a wonderful, collaborative, improvised music experience that allows people of all levels to explore their vocal expression. The first workshop, Come Inside the Circle, is especially geared to first-time participants, and people who may not have tried circle singing before. There is a special early bird price for participation, which ends February 20.
WORKSHOP 2: The Groove and the Bottom (open to 25 singers)
Explore how to use rhythm to enhance your circle ideas, as the function of the bass, its application, and stylistic implementation
Sunday, March 9th, from 11 am–5 pm (Please bring your own lunch)
Participation fee $125, $150 after 2/15
Open to experienced singers, choir directors, and circle singing facilitators
