About The Event
This presentation will provide a brief overview of the rise of Unitarianism in central Europe; periods of repression and flourishing of Unitarianism in that region; early interest in the Transylvanian roots of our faith tradition among American Unitarians, which led to an earlier sister church movement during the years following World War I; and, specifically, interest in Transylvanian Unitarianism here at the First Church in Belmont across the 20th century.
