UU Belmont Alliance: Travel and Hiking at Acadia National Park

Join us on the second Thursday of each month at 11 am

The Alliance is open to all and provides interesting educational programs. 

Travel and Hiking at Acadia National Park: A Playground for All Ages. Eliza and her husband Doug have been fortunate to spend a couple of weeks a year staying in and playing in Acadia. With bikes and their dog in tow, they have hiked, biked, explored, and been inspired by the scenery, flora, and seasonal changes that Acadia (and all of Mount Desert Island) offers. Whatever your age and activity level, there are places to savor and wander.

When not on the road, Eliza is busy with her Arlington-based landscape/garden design business that focuses on introducing native trees and plants to local landscapes. She also coaches clients interested in learning more about gardening and maintaining their own properties. Eliza has also been an active member of the Arlington Tree Committee for over a decade. At FCB, she has been a long-time member of the Music Committee.
