A new Social Action "steering committee" has been formed to support the current social action initiatives at the church and assist members of the congregation seeking to start up new initiatives. Priscilla Cobb has volunteered to chair the committee for a two-year term. A co-chair will be added by September 2024 to take over leadership in 2025. The steering committee will meet as needed to make decisions. Information about social action will be shared with the entire congregation through the Unitarian and the website. Three or four times a year, one of the social action initiatives will present their work at a social action gathering in the Parish Hall after a church service. These gatherings will offer a way for more people in the congregation to learn about and become involved with social action at our church.
