About The Event

Venerable Pomnyun Sunim is an internationally known humanitarian, environmentalist, and Buddhist monk from South Korea. One of the ways in which Ven. Pomnyun Sunim works to reduce suffering and build a more equitable world is to engage audiences in live Q&A sessions that he calls "Casual Conversations." Through his translator, he conducts these sessions in public settings at which he invites people of all backgrounds, ages, and walks of life to ask questions about things that are troubling them, such as work, relationships, and anxiety about the world in general.

These sessions are secular events designed to help people approach the challenges of their life with the wisdom that he has developed as part of his Buddhist perspective. Here is an example of his event: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXqBqeXrqaQ
