About The Event
The UU Urban Ministry has a variety of programs. These include an after school program for high school youth, a shelter for abused spouses, and many community related events. There are exciting opportunities for each of us to participate. We can share our special talent with the youth. We can support the shelter by providing warm clothing or arranging a special event for the adults or children. And we can broaden ourselves by taking a tour of Roxbury, or attending a lecture or concert at the First Church in Roxbury. Join us on Jan. 11 to hear about these opportunities. Volunteer coordinator, Robert Jones will be visiting us so together we can explore how each of us can make a difference.
